California Housing Agency has invested over $14 billion in non-taxpayer funds to help more than 140,000 California families live in a home of their own with a mortgage they can afford. I have specialized in helping buyers qualify and find their dream home with state and other affordable housing programs since 1995.
The State of California will assist you in purchasing a home in two ways. First they will cover your Down Payment and Closing Cost up to $21,700 with their CHDAP or CHAP program. In addition, they will provide you with a below market fixed rate loan so you not only save money on the mortgage payments but may also qualify for a much nicer home that you thought possible.
